Moments in Time Home Care was born out of the owner’s desire to provide quality care to help enable individuals to remain in their homes.  The owner, Valarie Golden, devoted five years of her life to providing care for both of her parents when they each developed neurodegenerative diseases.  Valarie is a registered nurse with an extensive history in skilled nursing home care.  While caring for her parents she witnessed firsthand the lack of quality care patients receive in both acute and rehab settings.  The burden of caring for ailing parents takes a toll on all family members and help is frequently needed.

Our Story

Our Mission

Guided by the compassionate love of Christ, our mission is to provide quality non-medical in-home care to individuals that will allow for improved quality of life and relieve caregiving pressures of family members. We honor the dignity of every person as created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), delivering personalized support with integrity, kindness, and excellence to foster independence, peace, and hope in the comfort of home. As we serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40), we reflect Christ’s command to love our neighbor (Mark 12:31) and bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), bringing light to daily living through faithful care.
